Holiday Kick-Off CelebrationMOM-POSTCARD-2015-ENGLISH-FINAL-bleed

Starting at 5pm, Conkling St. and Eastern Ave. will be alive with lights, music, trains, shopping and merriment. Meet in front of the Southeast Anchor Library, Eastern Ave. and Conkling St.

5pm Grab a hot chocolate at the Southeast Anchor Library and enjoy an outdoor jazz performance!

FREE holiday photo booth (with or without Santa–your choice!)

6pm The official tree-lighting ceremony, with Santa Claus, is at Conkling St. and Eastern Ave.

6:30pm The Train Garden, which features landmarks from the neighborhood—including Patterson Park and a winking Mr. Boh—opens at the Fire Department’s Engine House 41, 520 S. Conkling St. The Train Garden includes several new features this year, including a beach scene. The Train Garden will be open Saturdays and Sundays, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. starting Nov 28–see below for a full schedule.

7pm Merry Mixer (for adults only): Stroll with friends to bars and restaurants along Highlandtown Main Street.  Pick up your map of participating locations at Filippo’s Restaurant and Lounge at 418 S. C0nkling Street.
