2017 OCT First Friday Art Walk

On First Fridays from 5–9pm, art-centric businesses and arts venues in the Highlandtown Arts & Entertainment District stay open a little later than usual to play host to a self-guided walking tour of our neighborhood shops, galleries, landmarks and murals. Neighbors and visitors are encouraged to visit multiple sites and venues, many of which will feature light refreshments, special discounts, demonstrations and events.

The Painted Screen Society is ending it’s summer long exhibition in H!ghlandtown on a high note with Billy McComiskey & Friends* playing world class Irish tunes from 6-9 pm on the sidewalk under our “Red Roof” awnings on Conkling St.

Put on your dancin’ shoes & join us for a final toast celebrating the authentic Baltimore urban folk art of painted screens.

*Billy is a Master at the Irish Button Accordion and recent recipient of the prestigious National Endowment for the Arts National Heritage Award will be joined by (Fiddler) Donna Long and (Bodrun player) Myron Bretholz
