To celebrate our 20th birthday, we’re building a puppet lantern together for the Parade of Latin Nations and the Great Lantern Parade. Help us make community art!
These events are open to the public. Join any one or all events!
- July 7th from 5-8pm at Creative Alliance – Marquee Lounge
- July 13th from 5-7pm at Dreamers & Make-Believers (Right before movie night!)
- July 27th from 12:30-2:30pm at John Ruhrah Elementary
- August 2nd from 5:30-7:00pm at Creative Alliance (Before Trivia Night!)
- August 11th from 6:30pm at Creative Alliance (Before Trivia Night!)
- August 13th from 1:00-4:00pm at Off The Rox (During Rox & Friends Block Party)
- August 19th from 12:00-3:00pm at the Creativity Center (During Kerplunk!)
- September 2nd from 10:00-1:00pm during Highlandtown Gallery‘s Anniversary Celebration
We also need volunteers to help us carry the lantern and walk in our section during either or both of these parades. (Adults needed for lantern; families/kiddos are welcome too,…we’ll have something for everyone!). Please sign up here!
